This issue is very common in Florida and other high-sun regions, where UV radiation damages the LCD layers and backlight. Lens Replacement – Sea-Doo 2006 to 2009

On Sea-Doo 2006–2009 models, gauge lenses often become scratched, yellowed, or cracked due to prolonged sun exposure, saltwater, and aging materials.
