Velomotors Technology was not born from trends or shortcuts. It was built through years
of hands-on experience, curiosity, persistence, and a deep respect for electronics.
Our journey began in 2007, long before digital dashboards and multifunction displays became common. At that time, our focus was the restoration of analog and early digital instrument clusters, repairing speedometers, tachometers, and control panels that many considered impossible to fix.
What started as a small technical operation quickly evolved into a mission: to extend the life of electronic instruments through precision repair instead of replacement.
From Repair Benches to Environmental Impact at Velomotors Technology
Over the years, Velomotors Technology has completed more than 500,000 successful repairs across automotive and marine instrument systems.
Each repaired unit represents:
less electronic waste,
fewer circuit boards discarded,
and a meaningful contribution to environmental sustainability.
By restoring electronic modules, LCDs, and instrument clusters, we actively reduce the impact of electronic waste on the environment while delivering reliable solutions to customers worldwide.
When Knowledge Wasn’t Online Yet
Back in 2011, finding reliable information about instrument cluster repair, dashboard customization, and electronic diagnostics was extremely difficult.
There were:
no tutorials,
no reference videos,
no structured content explaining how these systems worked.
So we decided to create what didn’t exist.
That year, the Velomotors YouTube channel was born — not as a marketing tool, but as a way to document repairs, share discoveries, and help other technicians facing the same challenges.
The Challenge of Being Seen
Starting online wasn’t easy.
Learning how to:
appear on camera,
explain complex technical concepts,
edit videos,
and consistently publish content
was a challenge on its own.
There were doubts, technical limitations, and many nights learning video editing after long days at the repair bench. But the goal was always clear: share real knowledge, based on real repairs.
Over time, the channel became a reference in:
automotive instrument repair,
marine electronics restoration,
LCD and display diagnostics,
and advanced electronic troubleshooting.
A Historic Milestone: 100,000 Subscribers
In 2024, Velomotors Technology reached a milestone that represents far more than numbers.
We were officially recognized by YouTube with the Silver Creator Award, becoming the first and only channel in the automotive and marine instrument repair segment to reach 100,000 subscribers.
This achievement symbolizes:
years of consistency,
trust built with the technical community,
and a global audience that values transparency and expertise.
More Than Repairs — A Legacy of Knowledge
Today, Velomotors Technology operates at the intersection of:
marine electronics repair,
automotive instrument restoration,
technical education,
and digital content creation.
What started with analog gauges in 2007 now supports advanced GPS systems, multifunction displays, and modern digital dashboards — always with the same principle:
Repair with precision. Share knowledge. Reduce waste. Build trust.
Looking Ahead
As technology evolves, our commitment remains unchanged:
to repair what others replace,
to educate where information is missing,
and to innovate responsibly.
The journey continues — on the bench, online, and in every repaired instrument that gets a second life.
